About Advocacy Lead – EU role

The Mozilla Foundation Advocacy team is seeking a EU-based campaigner to help design and implement campaigns that advance their goals in this region. Mozilla’s advocacy program focuses on holding companies accountable for building trustworthy AI and offering users a safe and fair experience online. To do this, their team designs campaigns calling on specific product and policy changes, generates earned media of their work to key audiences like policy-makers. This role will report to the Director of Advocacy.

What You’ll Get To Do

We are seeking a strategic leader to drive our Mozilla-wide public policy and government affairs work. Working remotely, you will manage staff across entities and work cross-functionally to build and implement short and long term strategy in alignment with product, business, and ecosystem needs. You will use a wide variety of resources and capabilities to represent our positions in the Trans-Atlantic, Asia Pacific, and African regions. You’ll get to lead and influence through skilled ‘matrix management’ skills and model how participatory collaboration can result in clear and timely decisions.
