The IAAA is a community of practice that aims to advance and organize the algorithmic auditing profession, promote AI auditing standards, certify best practices and contribute to the emergence of Responsible AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Association Development:
    • Assist in defining the mission, vision, and strategic objectives of the association.
    • Support strategies to attract professionals in algorithmic auditing to become
      association members.
    • Contribute to identifying and establishing partnerships with industry organizations
      and academic institutions.
    • Manage paperwork and documentation to fulfill legal requirements for the
      establishment and operation of the association.
  • Certification Program Development:
    • Assist in research to determine criteria, eligibility requirements, and examination
      processes for certification.
    • Support the development of policies and procedures for the administration of the
      certification program.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Contribute to engaging with professionals, industry leaders, and subject matter
      experts in algorithmic auditing.
    • Assist in maintaining effective communication channels with stakeholders to
      provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Program Administration:
    • Support day-to-day operations of the certification program, including application
      processing and result reporting.
    • Assist in coordinating with external testing agencies or consultants, if necessary.
  • Marketing and Outreach:
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and
      communication strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Support monitoring of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in
      algorithmic auditing.
    • Assist in seeking feedback from stakeholders and conducting evaluations for
      program enhancements.
  • Educational Resources:
    • Contribute to the development of educational resources and training programs.
    • Assist in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among
      association member
