UK Right to Read Campaign

By EDRi · August 17, 2004

Within the UK the Royal National Institute of the Blind, RNIB, is currently running a Right to Read Campaign, in alliance with several other organisations. This seeks to do something about the huge gap between the number of titles published in print and the small amount that become available in accessible formats, whether from the voluntary or commercial sector. The campaign is urging as many people as possible to sign up to the Right to Read charter before it is presented to Government in the autumn.
