Expected numbers of submissions, accepted papers, and participants
ACM expects to attract around 25-35 submissions, and to accept about half of it, with an acceptance rate of 50%. We foresee to attract around 40-45 participants on-site, allowing remote presentations for authors unable to attend due to travel restrictions.
A selection of the papers accepted for the workshop may be invited to a special issue of a first-tier journal. Potential venues are the International Journal of Multimedia Retrieval, Multimedia Tools and Applications, IEEE MultiMedia.
