Brussels Privacy Symposium 2026

Marking its 10th anniversary edition, the Brussels Privacy Symposium celebrates a decade of examining, unpacking, and driving substantive data protection scholarship and thought leadership.

As the GDPR passes its 10-year anniversary, this year’s special edition, titled “The Next Decade of Data Protection: Retreat or Reinvention?”, looks at how data protection authorities have matured in guidance and enforcement, how the CJEU has shaped the interpretation of EU data protection law, and how the European Commission’s Omnibus process is advancing alongside accelerating technological change. The event will be held in a live, in-person-only format.
