Data-Date: Privacy in Smart Cities

On 30 July, the dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) published a report on research into the protection of personal data in the development and deployment of smart city applications by Dutch municipalities. The Knowledge Centre for Data & Society, together with the Spectre project, is organising a 'Data-Date' on 19 October (4-7 p.m.) on the VUB campus, Brussels. Together with the actors involved in the AP and the stakeholders at the Flemish level, we are reviewing the insights of the report. The event is free, but registration is required.
