This in-person workshop brings together researchers, journalists, fact-checkers, policymakers and civil society organisations from Belgium and Luxembourg to discuss ongoing and future challenges in the fight against disinformation. Organised by EDMO BELUX, the event offers keynote presentations, breakout sessions and networking opportunities focused on improving cross-sector collaboration, sharing tools and building trust in information ecosystems.

Disinformation in Belgium and Luxembourg: EDMO BELUX 2.0 Workshop & Networking Event

Hosted at the Residence Palace in Brussels, this event will offer an opportunity to examine the latest trends in disinformation in Belgium and Luxembourg. Participants will explore how key actors in the region are addressing these challenges and how collaboration across sectors can be strengthened. The agenda includes expert keynotes, breakout discussions on tools and methodologies, and a dedicated networking lunch to foster cross-sector exchange.

The workshop is organised under the new phase of the EDMO BELUX 2.0 project, which continues to monitor online disinformation, promote media literacy, and support policy engagement in the region. The event will be held in English and is free to attend upon registration.
