re:publica Vienna

The first re:publica Vienna brings Europe’s leading festival for digital society, politics, technology, and culture to Austria.

Over two days, the Kulturhaus Brotfabrik will host debates and keynotes with international speakers, alongside an open Barcamp integrating bottom-up ideas and community expertise. The programme focuses on questions of digital power, democratic public discourse, and societal change, including how platforms, AI, and algorithms shape political opinion-forming, media, and elections, alongside themes of digital infrastructure ownership, democratic rights in digital spaces, and how to confront disinformation, economic pressure, and authoritarianism.
