Save the date: International Conference e-Society.mk 2021
The Metamorphosis Foundation announces the 17th edition of the International Conference “e-Society.mk” with the topic “Democracy in the Digital Age: Challenges and Opportunities.”
The “e-Society.mk” Conference will bring together experts, activists, journalists, officials and supporters from the Western Balkans and beyond to share their views and thoughts on the topic “Democracy in the Digital Age: Challenges and Opportunities.” The conference will discuss the state of democracy today, as well as how technology shapes the definition of good governance and civic engagement in modern conditions. The topic for discussion will be the challenges of the digital age with a special focus on disinformation and internet security.
To promote the value of open data in the digital age, within the “e-Society.mk” Conference will be held a hackathon for open data. The main goal of the Hackathon is to bring open data closer to all citizens and present it simply and innovatively.
The conference is organized in a hybrid format where the first day (30 November) and the last day (3 December) of the conference some participants will have the opportunity to attend the event with a physical presence, and other participants will be able to follow the sessions online via the ZOOM platform. During the remaining days of the conference, the sessions will be available only on the ZOOM platform.
