The role
As Departmental Research Lecturer, you’ll lead and support research into the use of AI in government and policy, teach on OII’s graduate programmes, and contribute to a new collaboration with the Technical University of Munich on responsible AI innovation in the public sector.
You’ll need to have:
- A completed or soon-to-be-completed doctorate in a relevant field
- Proven research experience in AI, government and public policy
- Ability to deliver high-quality teaching and student supervision
- Willingness to contribute to departmental responsibilities
What you’ll be doing:
- Conducting original research on AI and its use in public service
- Teaching and supervising graduate students
- Collaborating on interdisciplinary projects across institutions
- Engaging in administrative and academic service at OII
