Government-held data could add value to policy analyses and service delivery if it were made available to wider communities. Recognizing that the public release of government data carries certain risks, particularly with respect to privacy and equity, there are growing calls to improve secure and effective data access.

Hannah Quay-de la Vallee of CDT and and Stefaan Verhulst of GovLab, as well as Amy O’Hara and Stephanie Straus of MDI, will facilitate a conversation exploring these issues.
