7amleh - The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media is a non-profit organization that advocates for Palestinian digital rights. 7amleh’s mission is to create a safe, fair and free digital space for Palestinians. 7amleh studies and researches issues related to Palestinian digital rights, provides digital rights, digital activism and digital security capacity building opportunities to Palestinian activists and civil society, and manages local and international advocacy campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Formulate long-term development strategies for the organization, focusing on its goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Plan, manage, and successfully implement various projects, from conception to launch.
  • Program Development: Develop training programs and prepare training materials across multiple fields.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Continuously track project progress, analyze data, and provide recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and different departments within the organization.
  • Professional Development: Uphold and apply high-quality standards throughout all phases of work.
  • Organizational Vision Implementation: Ensure the execution of the organization’s annual work plan, adhering to timelines and budgets.


Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social sciences.
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership of over 5 years.
  • More than 5 years of prior experience in project management.
  • Experience in building and designing work programs/training programs/train-the-trainer courses.
  • Extensive experience working in civil society organizations.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in the digital world and/or programming – an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience in digital rights – an advantage.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge in media and social media.
  • Excellent command of Arabic and English (written, spoken, and read).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Driver’s license and car.
  • Ability to work in Ramallah or Haifa.
