Ethics in Tech Tuesday Networking Nights
Ethics in Tech will be at the Dutch Goose hosting a night of networking, comedy and music. Join us in the Belly of the Goose for a free community mixer and networking event! No Goose or Geese of any variety will be harmed in this event.
This event is organized by Ethics in Technology—a grassroots group participating in the Electronic Frontier Alliance. The EFA is a network of grassroots organizations across the country committed to promoting digital rights. Together, we’re building a movement to promote freedom of expression, privacy, security, creativity, and access to knowledge.
Music by Mike Rufo. Mike Rufo’s songs and poems arc across the waves of life. His music is gripping and eclectic, reflecting his impassioned engagement with the world. Mike’s musical language builds upon powerful lyrics, soaring vocals, driving rhythms, and melodic riffs that explore emotional depths and transformation. He also mixes things up with a knack for the well-conceived parody, with a dash of political punch, like his popular singles Hit the Road, Trump! and Spyin’ Eyes.
Emily Catalano is a Los Angeles-based comedian originally from San Francisco who just made her late night stand-up debut on CONAN. She was selected by Time Out LA as one of 10 Comics to Watch in 2020. In 2019 Emily opened for Pete Holmes, Michelle Wolf, Sarah Silverman, Tig Notaro, Reggie Watts, and Patton Oswalt. She’s also super cool and isn’t awkward at parties or anything and totally knows how to pronounce ‘Merlot’ now.
