On June 28, EDRi and 16 civil society organisations urged the European Parliament to focus its attention on the Digital Markets Act (DMA) enforcement. Specifically, this open letter calls on the European Parliament to use its budgetary power to enable and support the European Commission in taking the necessary steps to put in place effective enforcement of the DMA. The European Union cannot miss the opportunity to tackle the excess power of Big Tech and limit harmful practices in digital markets.
