The Civil Liberties Union for Europe is a Berlin-based watchdog that safeguards the human rights of everyone in the European Union. Liberties works on multiple human rights issues, including free speech, data protection, the threats and opportunities of artificial intelligence for human rights, media freedom and the freedom of civil society organizations to do their work.

- The offer: A unique learning experience at a mid-sized NGO where interns can do meaningful work and can get the supervision they need to grow & develop. Working for the communications team means you will be involved in a large variety of daily, weekly routines from monitoring to creative writing, from research to campaign brainstorming & execution.
- Requirements: Applicants are expected to have active student status, and 2 completed years – preferably in the field of media, communications, political sciences or related studies.
- Commitment: Max. 3 months, 20 hours per week.
- Conditions: Intern positions are offered on a voluntary basis.
