The Chair aims to promote Mediterranean studies in computer law through an interdisciplinary cross-fertilisation, contributing to reducing the existing gap in the field of computer law that affects Mediterranean countries, which are often underrepresented in the global arena. The Chair wants to amplify the voice and participation of Mediterranean countries in the EU regulatory and policy debate. This will enrich the discussion at EU level through a focus on digital societies, benefiting from the significant scientific output in humanities and legal studies of Mediterranean countries with a positive interdisciplinary cross-fertilisation for the development of human-centric digital societies and AI.
