Stop the Censorship Machine and Save Your Internet!

Join the fight against the EU's Censorship Machine!

By EDRi · June 13, 2018

The EU’s Copyright Directive proposal introduces upload filters for virtually all user content being uploaded on the internet: memes, blogposts, videos, audio, code… The Censorship Machine will need to monitor and filter out each piece of content we upload to YouTube, Facebook, WordPress, Instagram, GitHub, etc.

“Article 13 takes an unprecedented step towards the transformation of the Internet, from an open platform for sharing and innovation, into a tool for the automated surveillance and control of its users.”

said the inventor of the World Wide Web Tim Berners Lee and other 70 internet pioneers.

Join us and convince your representatives in the European Parliament to oppose a censored internet, ruled by automated algorithms under the control of internet giants.

Upload filters represent a trend that many of our representatives embrace when proposing new laws dealing with illegal online content. Accepting the Censorship Machine for copyright means accepting permanent monitoring and filtering of the internet.

You can (still) do something about it. ACT NOW!
